The Badja Forest Road Fire Oral History Project was undertaken in partnership with the National Library of Australia with associated documentary film works created by Crewcible Studio. The NLA recorded 63 from residents affected by the Badja Forest Road Fire to create an accessible oral history archive.
The Day She Stole the Sun is an award-winning feature length documentary that expresses the story of the Badja Forest Road Fire, its impact on the region, and the recovery journey of the Cobargo community
Crewcible Studio also created four shorter length documentaries for the Cobargo Bushfire Resilience Centre:
The Badja Forest Road Fire is a shorter form documentary expressing the story of the fire.
Cobargo Community Bushfire Recovery Fund explains how the village established its own recovery fund and shows some of the projects it supported.
The Fodder Fund is the story of how Cobargo volunteers helped feed domestic animals in the south east corner of the state in the aftermath of the all the region’s fires
Roger Park’s Stay and Defend Story shares the incredible individual account of how Roger saved his family’s home from the Badja fire.
