The Badja Forest Road Fire Oral History Project was undertaken in partnership with the National Library of Australia (NLA) with associated documentary film works created by Crewcible Studio. The project received funding from the federal and NSW governments under the Bushfire Community Resilience Recovery Fund (BCRRF). Work commenced in mid-2021 and was completed mid-2023. The NLA recorded 63 oral history interviews from residents affected by the Badja Forest Road Fire. The majority of these are freely available online as part of an accessible oral history archive.
